Commission credits when the restaurant is actively paying and you are an active rep. No bounties for trials or free accounts.
Agency-attributed restaurants pay separate fixed amounts to the agency and its manager. Scouts under an agency do not also earn the independent rep rate.
Rates and the annual multiplier can be updated for new collections. Your dashboard shows the fixed amount earned on each payment.
Sales reps and agencies earn commissions on restaurants they refer to WhatsTheSpecial according to the commission schedule above. Here’s how vesting protects what you build.
Each rep or agency receives a unique referral link. Restaurants that sign up through that link are attached to that rep or agency for commission tracking. Once you reach 20 active paying restaurant accounts, you are vested.
Once vested, you continue to receive commissions on those referred restaurant accounts according to the published commission schedule — even if you later stop actively selling WhatsTheSpecial.
If a vested rep or agency falls below 20 active paying accounts because of cancellations, you remain vested on the accounts you already referred. New referrals may still be accepted subject to company approval.
Reps or agencies who have not yet reached 20 active paying accounts must remain in good standing to keep receiving commissions. Good standing means no fraud, misrepresentation, spam, abuse, violation of company policies, or conduct that harms WhatsTheSpecial, restaurant customers, or other reps.
Commissions are paid only on actual paid restaurant subscriptions. No commission is earned on free trials, refunded payments, cancelled accounts, failed payments, chargebacks, or unpaid invoices.
WhatsTheSpecial may update commission terms for new referrals. Existing referred accounts continue under the terms in effect when those accounts became active paying customers, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
WhatsTheSpecial reserves the right to terminate a rep or agency relationship for fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, or policy violations. In those cases, unpaid and future commissions may be forfeited.
